Bollywood director Rohit Shetty may face legal trouble for using a “Police” sticker and police-style lights on his private cars without official permission, which is illegal.
He is currently shooting Golmaal 5 in Mumbai with Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, and others under tight security.
Earlier in January, Rohit received a death threat from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang and requested extra security from Mumbai Police, but it was reportedly not approved.
Despite this, Rohit used “Police” stickers and lights on at least two of his SUVs. As per the Motor Vehicles Act, only police officials are allowed to use such markings.
In January, his Juhu residence was also attacked by gunmen linked to the Bishnoi gang, who later claimed responsibility and issued further threats.
