Famous filmmaker and director of Bollywood industry Karan Johar has completed 25 years in the Bollywood industry and on this occasion he made the love story of the film Rocky and Rani. With this film, Karan has returned to the field of direction after almost 7 years. Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer this film has been released today. Story: The film begins with Rocky and Rani’s love story with Dilli Ke Launde i.e. Rocky Randhawa (Ranveer Singh), whose life revolves around designer clothes, gym and protein shakes. On the other hand, we meet the smart and intelligent reporter Rani Chatterjee (Alia Bhatt), who is known for her impeccable reporting. Rocky has a family sweets business in Delhi, and Ranveer’s household is headed by his grandmother (Jaya Bachchan).

While trying to complete the unfinished love story of their grandfather (Dharmendra) and grandmother (Shabana Azmi), Rocky and Rani fall in love with each other, who are completely different from each other. There is a lot of difference between both of them along with family and living tolerance. Performances: Ranveer Singh has made a splash in the character of Rocky, even before this film, Ranveer had played the character of Delhi Ke Launde. However, this time Ranveer’s character is quite different from the rest of the films. From the last several films, it seemed that the character of Simmba was not coming out from inside Ranveer Singh, but this time Ranveer has won hearts with his performance.

Alia Bhatt is also looking fabulous in the role of Rani. Even before this film, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt worked together in Gully Boy. In that film also both of them gave a good performance and in this film also both of them have done really commendable acting.

Apart from these two, the film also stars many veteran actors of the industry, including Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. The presence of these stars adds charm to this film. The old songs picturized with Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi add to the beauty of the story. Jaya Bachchan plays Ranveer’s grandmother, the head of the family, and watching her brings to mind her squabbles with the paparazzi as here too she is seen to be very strict.

Karan, who has given superhit films like Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, knows the pulse of the people very well, so this time Karan has presented this story in his old style with a new thought. . Karan has directed well, but we have seen Karan’s earlier films, so according to that, this time Karan has lacked something.

Analysis: Karan Johar’s films have often seen big budgets and lavish sets, designing dresses, best dancers, but this time the matter is a bit different. Even though Karan has directed the film after 7 years, his shine has not faded even today.

Although the film has become unnecessarily long, Karan should have worked on its screenplay in a better way. Some scenes seem unnecessary at many places, they could have been removed. Many times in the first half, it seems where the story is going. The second half keeps the story tied, if the second half was made a little more, then by increasing the emotional scenes and the scenes giving the message, the first half was made smaller, then the film could have become even more spectacular.

Verdict: Talking about the music of the film, Pritam has given good music. The background score is decent at most places, while the older songs add a funky feel. Overall, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer this film is enough to make the weekend fun.
