He is known for being highly imaginative and use as much off time and creativity possible to bring one great dish to his fans and common audience as well. He is the first man to shoot a song with all the wonders of the world, in the background. Also, he is the first director to construct a set that costs more than a crore for one song and there are many firsts like this that he accomplished over his career with panache.
For his new movie with Rajnikanth, 2.0 the sequel of their earlier movie, Enthiran, Shankar has planned to shoot a song with Amy Jackson and Rajnikanth for over 12 days. We all thought that the movie has completed the shooting as Rajnikanth moved on to his next movie, Kaala. But this song has been pending still and the director planned to shoot the song from the first week of August.
Amy Jackson confirmed this in one of her press interactions. She said, “A song is to be shot for the movie and Shankar sir asked me to block dates for a total month. I need to practice for at least 10 days before the shoot and the shoot will take more than 12 days to complete. Bosco- Caesar will be composing steps for the song and I’m a bit nervous and happy at the same time, that I get to romance with Rajni sir. There is a lot of scope for dance too in the song.”
