Ritwik Bhowmik is set to make his theatrical debut with Abhootpurva. Known for his large online following Ritwik has emerged as one of the breakout stars of his generation.
The film is a unique mix of romance, horror and comedy, featuring him alongside seven acclaimed actors and a female lead, whose names will be announced next month.
Set in 1990s Agra, Abhootpurva promises a heartwarming and fun big-screen experience. It blends the innocence of first love, small-town quirks and an unexpected supernatural twist with music adding a nostalgic touch.
Ritwik shared, “This script felt special from the start. It lingers in my heart and mind like a beautiful dream. It’s exactly the kind of story I’ve always wanted to be a part of”.
Produced by Khyati Madaan under Not Out Entertainment, filming begins in November 2025. This film marks Ritwik’s first theatrical project and continues Not Out Entertainment’s diverse slate of exciting genre films.
