Bahubali was just a Telugu film announced by a most successful director of Telugu Cinema with exciting star cast and biggest budget. This was some four to five years ago. Now, Bahubali has a universe of its own and makers are trying everything they can to make it stay alive and become Star Wars of India. In their penchant, the team has collaborated with various avenues like book publishers, anime experts and a television series is also under development. With Virtual Reality being the new technique that looks to take over, Bahubali team has taken to it before than anyone and they have already released teaser for it.
The VR video is named Sword of Bahubali and it has been directed by S.S. Rajamouli himself. For the movie, the makers decided to go with a completely new character, Samaya who will help in stealing and securing the Sword of Bahubali from Mahishmati. Samaya, became the first Virtual Reality character, exclusively developed and Ritu Verma is the face chosen for it.
Pelli Choopulu actress has created a history of sorts with this. As the VR technology is said to be the new 3D in Films and will develop further and become more available to all, this marks for a big step in her career. When caught up with the actress, she was naturally ecstatic and said, in some or other capacity, being a part of Bahubali world made her not think twice before accepting the offer. When quizzed about her experience and contribution, she quipped that she is not much into techie world so she cannot explain what really is going on. And coming to her contribution, she will give voice to Samaya and she was flown to America and her expressions were captured with several VR cameras.
