Rithika to debut in Telugu

As Venkatesh is set to play the role Madhavan from “Irudhi Sutru” in the soon to be made Telugu remake of the film, the casting process of the film is in full swing. Not just that, even the film’s pre-production process has begun. PVP Cinemas is set to bankroll this film which will go on floors in September. And we hear that Rithika Singh, who played the female lead in the original is set to reprise the character in the remake as well.

Rithika, who won the National Award (Special Mention Category) for this film, is a national champion who has represented India in kick-boxing, karate and mixed martial arts. The film will be directed by Sudha Kongara who helmed the original.
