After Kantara, Rishab Shetty became a nationwide star. Now the prequel to Kantara is being made and will be released on October 2nd.
After that, he has several big projects lined up. Rishab is now a top choice for historical and biographical films based on the roles he’s picking.
He will be playing the great warrior Chhatrapati Shivaji in a movie titled The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj which will start filming later this year.
He will also play Lord Hanuman in Jai Hanuman directed by Tollywood filmmaker Prasanth Varma. This shoot is planned for next year depending on Rishab’s schedule.
Another important film he signed is 1770 based on the novel Anandamath by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee. This movie will be directed by Ashwin Gangaraju and produced by Sithara Entertainments.
Besides these, he has a few more big projects in the planning stage. All his upcoming films are grand, mostly historical or biographical showing that Rishab is choosing a very distinct and bold path in cinema.
