Rishab Shetty Bets Big On Kantara: Chapter 1

Kantara: Chapter 1 is set to be one of the biggest pan-Indian releases, arriving this Dasara. The trailer, filled with powerful visuals and intensity has already caught everyone’s attention.

The film is a devotional action drama, written, directed and led by Rishab Shetty. After the massive success of the first part, Hombale Films backed the project with a much larger budget while Rishab carefully planned every detail during pre-production.

Interestingly, instead of demanding a huge paycheck Rishab chose a profit-sharing model. He even invested some of his own money to make sure the film matched his vision.

The budget is said to be four times higher than the original, yet the producers are already earning big through record sales of theatrical and non-theatrical rights.

Starring Rukmini Vasanth as the leading lady, the movie is scheduled for a grand release on October 2nd, across 7000+ screens worldwide.
