Rio Raj Steps Into A Fresh Romcom Journey

Rio Raj, last seen in Aan Paavam Pollathathu (2025) is now starring in a new romantic comedy titled Ram In Leela. The film introduces Vartika as the female lead and is directed by newcomer Ramachandran Kannan.

The makers recently released the first look poster, hinting at a light feel-good story about the sweet and emotional moments in a modern relationship.

Rio says the film is not a typical love story and includes love, comedy, friendship, family and travel. He is excited because the director, cinematographer and editor are all making their debut.

The movie also features Munishkanth, Balaji Dayalan, Ma Ka Pa Anand, Chetan, Malavika, Kathadi Ramamurthy and Deepa Venkat who is acting again after a long time. Music is by Ankit Menon, who is entering Tamil cinema.

Rio character is someone who overreacts in a funny way and is always searching for a bride. He says the success of his last film gives him confidence for this one.
