Riddhima Kapoor Sahni is ready to make her Bollywood debut with Daadi Ki Shaadi releasing on May 8th 2026. In this family comedy and she will share screen space with her mother Neetu Kapoor and actor Kapil Sharma.
Before starting the film Riddhima spoke to her brother Ranbir Kapoor who gave her an important and helpful acting tip which really helps her.
He told her to stay cool and honest in front of the camera, trust her instincts and live the character instead of just performing it. She said this advice gave her confidence.
This film is directed by Ashish R Mohan and tells the story of a grandmother who truly surprises her family by deciding to remarry.
It mixes comedy, emotions and family drama with a message about love and second chances in a lovely way.
