Rhea Kapoor Confirms Plans For Crew Sequel

Amid rumours about a sequel to the 2024 hit Crew, Rhea Kapoor and her production company, Anil Kapoor Film & Communication Network have issued a statement.

They happily thanked fans for the love, support and appreciation the film continues to receive and congratulated Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu and Kriti Sanon for their great performances.

The statement added that any news about the next chapter including a possible Crew 2, will be shared when the time and story are ready.

This comes after a report claiming that Crew 2 is already in development with Kareena expected to return. The makers are reportedly exploring different storylines to expand the Crew universe.

Earlier, Rhea had hinted at a sequel, saying that her writers quickly came up with ideas after the first film ended.

She admitted she was nervous about sequels but felt Crew could have a fun follow-up. For now fans will have to wait for an official announcement.
