Rhea Chakraborty has spoken about her experience in Byculla women’s prison where she spent around 28 days in custody in 2020 during the drug case linked to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.
In a video Rhea said she found unexpected kindness among the women in prison. She said people inside were often more caring than those outside and that everyone was treated equally without any social hierarchy.
Rhea also joked about the food and said she might write a book about her prison experiences.
She took jokes about her past in good spirit but also sarcastically said people found her trauma entertaining.
Last year the Bombay High Court ordered the NCB to return her passport. She is currently seen in The Traitors 2.
