Rhea Chakraborthy and Showik Chakraborthy have been arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau on the charges of illegal possession of drugs, procurement and usage. Rhea admitted that she bought drugs but did that for Sushanth Singh Rajput. The actress is still being investigated for money laundering related to Missue of deceased actor, Sushanth. The new stories say that the couple have run a drug racket in Mumbai.
Some say that they have procured drugs for others and sold them as well. Post her and her brother’s arrest, Rhea Chakraborthy submitted a plea in Mumbai Court for bail. The court has given tomorrow’s date to her lawyers to hear their plea and the arguments regarding the bail petition. On the other hand, Enforcement Directorate and CBI are working on charging her with illegal money transfer, abetting suicide charges.
