Rhea Chakraborthy gets bail!

Rhea Chakraborthy after being in judicial remand, in jail for past two weeks. Narcotics Control Bureau arrested her after she confessed for procurement of drugs. Her brother, Showmik Chakraborthy also got arrested along with her. Now, she got the bail on the terms of paying one lakh bond amount to the Court and for ten days, she has to appear in front of the court, every day. She is not allowed to leave the city unless she informs to the court, police about it in advance.

The actress can continue to work in Mumbai to honour her commitments. Showmik Chakraborthy will have to file another bail application to Court. Rhea Chakraborthy and Showmik Chakraborthy were arrested after Sushanth Singh Rajput died by suicide. As the case went into the hands of CBI, Rhea Chakraborthy first tried to run away from the city. Later, she surrendered and then confessed about procurement of drugs. CBI is still enquiring into the charges of abetment of suicide on her.
