Ram Gopal Varma decided to make a parody on Powerstar Pawan Kalyan about his political failure in 2019 elections, Power Star. He did not care about the fan abuses and threats on social media, since the moment he announced the film.
It is releasing on 25th July on his website RGVWorld Theater and the trailer showed that he viciously took potshots at Megastar Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Bandla Ganesh and Trivikram Srinivas. The ridicule did not bode well with fans of Pawan Kalyan.
The director said that he is getting threats from many and he likes it. Now, his office has been attacked in the night time by some unknown people. He registered a complaint with Hyderabad Police about the incident.
Talking to media, he said that few people are unnecessarily making this small troll into a big issue and he won’t budge for such threats. He confirmed that film release won’t stop due to these attacks.
