Ram Gopal Verma has been accused off being in affairs with several heroines but never had he been accused by any women as an abuser or an harasser. If someone says though many will be ready to pounce on him. He talked about #MeToo movement now.
He said, “Men view women as sex symbols. Even I do too. By nature men should get attracted to Women but that doesn’t mean that Men undermine women. Men think off women in a cheap manner and disrespect them. That shouldn’t be the case. I myself, never tried to force any actress to do something that she is uncomfortable with.
I like to have to progressive environment at my sets and that should be the case elsewhere too. It is Women who have to show men what they are capable off and automatically the outlook will change. Men do respect women when they get to know their true potential. Until then, men tend to overlook the fact that women can do anything and everything, if they give their 100%.
I believe #MeToo is a good movement as it will make many Men to show respect towards Women that should have been doing since ages!”
