The AP High Court has granted anticipatory bail to RGV in a case about posting offensive images on social media. The court has asked him to cooperate with the investigation.
The case dates back to when RGV promoted his film Vyuham during the election period. He was accused of sharing edited images of Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh, Brahmani, and Pawan Kalyan.
Following a complaint by TDP Mandal Secretary Ramalingam at Maddipadu Police Station, a case was registered against RGV under seven sections on November 10th.
RGV tried to get the case dismissed, but the High Court rejected his plea. Even after being issued two notices, he did not appear for questioning.
Although RGV avoided police questioning, he stayed active on social media and gave interviews, denying claims of being in hiding or that police visited his office.
After seeking legal protection, the High Court granted him anticipatory bail, providing relief but requiring him to cooperate with the investigation.
