Republic teaser: A Deva Katta mark intense political drama that creates a solid impact

The makers of Mega hero Sai Dharam Tej and director Deva Katta’s forthcoming political drama, Republic have unveiled the film’s first look teaser this morning. The 54 seconds teaser opens with an English quote ” In our age, there is no such thing as keeping out of politics” and makes it clear that the film deals with the power-packed political system.

Later, the promo shift to visuals on Ramya Krishnan, who has been projected as an influential politician. The mood of the entire teaser carries with a voice-over dialogue by Sai Teja saying “Democracy is neither right to vote nor right to a voice and concludes that we are still living in a feudal system.”

To keep it simple, Republic teaser exposes the corruption system in today’s society and creates a solid impact. The intense teaser hints that it is completely a Deva Katta mark film.

Kollywood heroine Aishwarya Rajesh is doing the female lead in Republic. Being bankrolled by Bhagwan and Pullarao, Zee Studios is presenting Republic which is slated to hit the screens on June 4th. Mani Sharma is the music composer for the film.
