Kollywood director Atlee Kumar is currently working on a project with Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan. Titled Jawan, the film’s shooting is underway at a fast pace.
Touted as an intense actioner, Jawan has Lady Superstar Nayanthara as the female lead. Also starring Deepika Padukone in a key cameo, Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment banner is bankrolling the movie which has music by Anirudh. The film has Vijay Sethupathi in a crucial role. GK Vishnu is the cinematographer for this pan-India film which will have a simultaneous release in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil languages simultaneously.
Meanwhile, the latest news from our Chennai sources is that after wrapping up Jawan Atlee Kumar is keen on collaborating with Thalapathy Vijay. On the other hand, Vijay is also gearing up to work with Lokesh Kanagaraj for his 67th film. The film marks the second time association of Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj after the 2021 film, Master. As per the reports, actor Arjun is roped in for a key role in the movie.
If Atlee Kumar and Vijay’s project materializes, it marks the fourth time association of the star actor-director duo. Earlier, Vijay and Atlee Kumar worked together on hit films like Theri, Mersal and Bigil.
