Renu Desai continues to have a special place in the hearts of Telugu audiences.
During a recent podcast, she shared an interesting memory about selecting costumes for Pawan Kalyan’s film Balu.
She revealed that the famous Balu pant worn by Pawan Kalyan cost around Rs. 75,000. The special pant reportedly belonged to the Second World War period and was not an ordinary costume.
Renu said she suggested spending an extra Rs. 25,000 on the unique pant instead of buying 10 regular pants for Rs. 5,000 each.
She also worked as a costume designer for Gudumba Shankar. During the podcast, she recalled a London shopping experience where filmmaker Karan Johar was buying clothes for Shah Rukh Khan.
