Renu Desai has expressed frustration over people constantly identifying her as the former wife of actor and Andhra Pradesh Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan.
Although they divorced in 2012, she continues to face questions about their past relationship even after 14 years.
During a recent podcast, Renu compared her situation to Lord Ram’s 14-year exile and questioned when she would be free from this attention.
She also pointed out that she has built her own career by producing films, directing, writing poetry and acting.
However, she continues to face trolling, even for her animal welfare activities. Renu believes people should recognise her work and respect her independent identity instead of constantly connecting her to Pawan Kalyan.
