Release Hurdles for Vaarasudu?

It is widely known that noted producer Dil Raju is bankrolling a film titled, Varisu with Kollywood star Vijay. Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the film will have a simultaneous release in Telugu as Vaarasudu.

The makers already announced that this said-to-be family entertainer will hit the screens on January 11th. Reportedly, the film will be locking horns with yet another Tamil star Ajith Kumar’s Thunivu which is releasing on the same. We had already reported that the film’s release in the USA may delay by a day or two due to a delay in the dispatch of the prints.

Meanwhile, the latest news circulating among Tollywood media is that the film’s Telugu release might postpone to January 14th. If the news is to be believed, it is going to be a lost opportunity for Vaarasudu in Telugu as the shift in the release date will definitely dent the openings. Have to wait and see how things shape up in the next few days.
