Sharwanand once known for releasing two films a year, is now facing delays in getting his movies to theaters.
In recent times he has been taking longer to complete his projects, leading to gaps between releases. After the failure of Manamey last year he promised to work faster and release films more regularly.
Currently, he has multiple films in different stages of production, but progress is slow. One of his completed films, Nari Nari Naduma Murari, has wrapped up its shoot but hasn’t finalized a release date yet.
According to sources, the delay is mainly because the team is struggling to secure a good OTT deal. With Sharwanand’s recent films underperforming and his reduced presence in the industry, OTT platforms are hesitant to invest.
As a result the team is waiting for a better streaming offer before planning a theatrical release. The film stars Samyuktha and Sakshi Vaidya as the female leads.
