Avatar: The Way of Water the cinematic creation by Hollywood filmmaker James Cameron saw an unbelievable jump in collection across all multiplexes in India during its second Saturday i..e yesterday. The early trade reports indicate a spike in Avatar 2 collections in all pockets on Sunday as well which also happens to Christmas festival holiday.
Meanwhile, the latest news coming in is that from tomorrow(Monday) onwards Disney( the distribution network of Avatar 2) has decided to lower the ticket prices to reach a wider audience. Reportedly, the multiplexes and Single screens are advised to go with not more than ₹150 +3D Charges. For other than special formats like IMAX/4DX, the ticket rate remains as how is it now.
Though Avatar 2 didn’t get the expected response from the North belt during the first week, reports suggest that the kids and families in Hindi circuits are stepping in huge numbers during this weekend. At the Telugu box office, Avatar 2 has collected more than Rs 55 crore gross within eight days. By the end of its full run, Avatar 2 is likely to breach Rs 100 crore gross mark, estimate trade circles.
