Mega Powerstar Ram Charan is having a pan-India project under the direction of ace director Shankar at the filming stage. Tentatively titled RC15, the film has already wrapped up close to sixty percent of its shooting.
As Shankar resumed the shooting for his dream project, Indian 2 a few months ago, he is simultaneously working on both projects. Starring Kamal Haasan in the lead role, Indian 2 is a sequel to the star actor-director duo’s 1996 blockbuster, Indian( Bharateeyudu in Telugu). Co-starring Kajal Aggarwal as the female lead, Indian 2 also has Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar among others in key roles.
Coming back to RC15, the latest we hear from our sources is that director Shankar who is known for spending big bucks on movie songs is making arrangements to shoot a grandeur song on the lead pair Ram Charan and Kiara Advani. Reportedly, the shooting for the song will begin on November 20th and will end on December 2nd. Sources confirm that to shoot the song for twelve days, Shankar is spending a whopping Rs 15 crore.
Being bankrolled by Dil Raju under his Sri Venkateswara Creations banner, RC15 also has Anjali, Sunil, SJ Suryah among others in prominent roles. While Thaman is composing the music, RC15 is expected to hit the screens in mid-2023.
