It is already known that Ram Charan and director Sukumar are teaming up again for a new film tentatively titled RC 17.
Recently many rumours suggested that the project might get postponed. However the film producers have now clarified that the shoot will begin in April or May 2026.
In the past few weeks reports claimed that Charan might collaborate with Trivikram after Peddi instead of Sukumar.
There was also buzz that Sukumar could direct a film for Shah Rukh Khan before RC 17. These rumours caused confusion among Mega fans about the film’s status.
Producer Naveen Yerneni put all speculation to rest during the Dude press meet. He confirmed that RC 17 will start shooting right after Peddi, which releases on March 27, 2026.
