Ravi Teja’s latest release, “Tiger Nageswara Rao,” hit the screens recently, but unfortunately, the film’s slow-paced narrative may have hindered its success. Adding to this, Ravi Teja’s relatively low-key promotion in the Tollywood industry has led to less excitement around the movie, resulting in opening collections that fell short of his previous blockbuster, “Dhamaka.”
However, Ravi Teja’s words shed light on his deep connection with the film. During a press interaction, he expressed that his role as Tiger Nageswara Rao is the most intense and close to his heart character he has ever portrayed on the silver screen, second only to Vikram Rathore from “Vikramarkudu.”
Surprisingly, Ravi Teja admitted that he had reservations about director Vamsee’s abilities based on his previous work but commended him for delivering an exceptional output that exceeded his expectations. Ravi Teja even pledged to collaborate with Vamsee again, emphasizing his preference for directors with a clear and well-defined vision.
In light of Ravi Teja’s strong belief in “Tiger Nageswara Rao,” it’s evident that the film held significant importance to him. Despite facing tough competition from other Dasara releases, the movie currently ranks at the third position in terms of box office collections, with “Bhagwant Kesari” and “Leo” securing the first and second spots, respectively.
