Just two days after the death of veteran actor Kota Srinivasa Rao the Telugu film industry was hit with another tragic news.
Actor Ravi Teja’s father Bhupathiraju Rajagopal Raju, passed away at midnight on Tuesday in Hyderabad after suffering from prolonged illness.
He was 90 and had been dealing with age-related health issues for several months. He breathed his last at Ravi Teja’s residence.
Rajagopal Raju is survived by his wife and two sons Ravi Teja and Raghu. His younger son Bharat died in a road accident.
A native of Jaggampeta village in Kakinada district Raju worked as a pharmacist and stayed away from the limelight despite his son’s fame. He was known for being a quiet supportive figure throughout Ravi’s journey in cinema.
