Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja has delivered a number of successful films in his career, but one monumental film in his career is Vikramarkudu, directed by SS Rajamouli. The film remains to be one of Ravi Teja’s best to date, and an all-time fan favourite, with a high rewatch value.
It was earlier said by writer Vijayendra Prasad, that the script for the sequel of Vikramarkudu is ready, and that he’s interested in getting the film made. Given that Rajamouli currently doesn’t have the time to direct the sequel, the direction responsibility of the film has been given to Sampath Nandi. Sampath Nandi is said to have approached Ravi Teja, but it has now been learnt that the actor has rejected the film, due to the lack of dates, as he’s currently busy with several projects.
Director Sampath Nandi is now said to be on the lookout for a suitable actor, who can fill Ravi Teja’s shoes in the sequel. Given that Vikramarkudu is a popular film, and has achieved cult status among fans, it is going to be interesting who will end up replacing Ravi Teja.
