Ravi Teja not keen on making movies anymore?

Eternal hard worker and the symbol of persistence Ravi Teja seems have to taken more spiritual route these days. Ravi who started being a part of movies from 1991, made small appearances in Rajasekhar Allari Priyudu as a friend. He then became an assistant to Krishna Vamsi and continued his association during Ninne Pelladutha and Chandralekha. After Krishna Vamsi became a big director with Ninne Pelladutha, he casted Ravi in villainous roles in Sindhuram, Samudram. With Sindhuram, jampandu royi song being a big hit, Ravi found his place among the budding heroes like Naveen Vadde, JD Chakravarthy and others. He became part of four hero films, two hero films and acted as a villain as well.

Then he got a break through with Puri Jagannadh deciding to start his own Production, Vaishno Academy with Danayya and made the movie, Itlu Shravani Subramanyam. The movie became a big hit and then, legendary director Vamsi decided to cast Ravi Teja in his comeback movie, Avunu Vallidaru Isthapaddaru. This movie also became a success and Ravi waited for almost 9 months for Puri Jagannadh to start his next movie with him and that turned to be Idiot, taking him into the masses in a big way. He got his deserved big ticket success after a struggle of 12 to 13 years. Since then he worked with new talent, completed hattrick of Block busters with Puri as a kick boxer in Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi.

The new talent gave him successes like Kick, Anjaneyulu, Balupu, Don Seenu. His long time friend and the director who made hisfirst movie with him, Nee Kosam, Srinu Vaitla also contributed to his success with Venky and Dubai Sreenu later. Ravi also gave a hit with Krishna Vamsi in Khadgam. But lately he saw many failures with new talent and trusted friends as well. He did manage to comeback with films like Bengal Tiger and Power, but his big budget Kick 2 flopped with out a trace as well.

Since then, all his next movies have been announced and got cancelled. Even big producers like Dil Raju cancelled too. Lately, there was news that he and Chandoo Mondeti are in discussions for their next but nothing has been finalized as well. Recently, Puri when asked about their next collaboration revealed that Ravi is now looking go on a world tour and he is busy in planning. Strong buzz from his close friends and associates is also that Ravi Teja developed a serious inclination towards Spirituality and he is loosing interest in material objects. They added that he is not that keen on starting next film soon. Well, we hope he will try to come back on screen like Rajni for his fans after few spiritual trips soon.
