Ravi Teja worked hard from early 1990’s to reach to the position that he is enjoying today. He is slowly started working as assistant director then did small roles in many films to finally become a lead actor. Idiot, Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi, Kick made him Mass Maharaja and his films became staple diet to mass and young audience, as they projected high voltage energy and action sequences with him.

Off Late, same formula has made him struggle for a hit and he even took a break of 15 months, before starting his film, Raja The Great. He seemed to have made a good comeback as a visually challenged protagonist but then his two recent releases, Touch Chesi Choodu and Nela Ticket became huge disasters. Now, the actor has accepted three films. One with Srinu Vaitla, Amar Akbar Anthony, two Theri remake with Santhosh Srinivas and third one with Vi Anand. He planned earlier to do Theri remake and Amar Akbar Anthony simultaneously, but with excessive pressure and stress, he decided to do one at a time, it seems.

The actor felt Amar Akbar Anthony needs his undivided attention and talked with Santosh Srinivas about the same it seems. He convinced him about his need to concentrate on one film at a time and asked the director to wait till Amar Akbar Anthony is at least 85% completed, it seems. Well, he was the only hero, to continue doing 2 films at the same time like in 80’s and 90’s. He also decided to break that pattern and concentrate on one film at a time. Seems like today’s films are highly demanding.
