Ravi Teja struggled for years before becoming a star, and his films were once safe bets when he charged a reasonable fee.
But after the pandemic, the market became unstable, and his recent movies turned out to be flops. Still, Ravi Teja did not reduce his high remuneration, even asking for a share of profits after release, which made him lose some projects.
Now, he has changed his approach and agreed to a profit-sharing model. He is currently shooting Kishore Tirumala’s film on a tight budget, planned for Sankranthi 2026.
For this, he will take a minimum fee and share in the profits. He also signed a film with Shiva Nirvana under Mythri Movie Makers on the same model.
Realizing the industry’s instability, Ravi Teja has finally adjusted his pay to take up more films.
