On Wednesday rumours began circulating on social media claiming that Vishal had taken over the direction of his 35th film Magudam from director Ravi Arasu due to creative differences. A video showing Vishal giving instructions to the crew went viral adding fuel to the speculation.
When contacted Ravi Arasu dismissed the rumours as “fake news” and reassured fans, saying “There’s nothing to worry. I’m directing the film, and the fifth schedule will begin after Diwali”.
He also shared a photo from Tiruchendur Murugan Temple where he prayed for the success of the movie. Magudam features Vishal in the lead role.
Vishal asked about the rumours chose not to comment directly on them stating that the film is in its final phase of shooting and is shaping up well.
He added, “I always make sure I don’t let my producer down and focus on delivering a good film to everyone. That’s my priority now”.
