Ratnavelu Gives Insight Into Peddi Visuals

When the first glimpse of Peddi was released last year one scene that stood out was a unique cricket shot.

Ram Charan walks down the pitch hits the bat on the ground and then smashes the ball for a six. A similar shot was also seen at the end of the Rai Rai Raa Raa song. These unusual shots impressed many viewers.

Cinematographer Ratnavelu explained that Peddi is not a trained cricketer but a village youngster who plays gully cricket.

So instead of proper cricket shots he uses his own style sometimes even with a beedi in his mouth and hits big shots. The team also worked with local players to design these scenes.

The film is produced by Vriddhi Cinemas with music by Rahman and features a strong supporting cast.
