Rashmika signs another film with Vijay

Vijay Devarakonda is the young actor who is making all the buzz after Arjun Reddy. His next film after Arjun Reddy is slated for release in May but the actor has many more in the pipeline too. He has been shooting for Geeta Govindam in the direction of Parasuram and he also accepted NOTA in the direction of Anand Shankar, a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. He accepted a movie in the direction of young Bharat Kamma long time ago.

The movie will start shooting soon and the team has been looking for the lead actress. The news reports suggests that Rashmika Mandanna has been finalized to play the lady lead in the movie. This one will have playing a sports person and the actress took it up as a challenge as she did not do such role in her previous movies. She wants to make an impact with this film.

A source close to the actress said, “She will start preparing for the role soon. She wants to really change the perspective of how people see her and hence, she wants to take up this sportswoman character. She has been mostly seen as girl-next-door, so she is pumped about this project.” Vijay Devarakonda’s next film Taxiwala is ready for release in May and after that Parasuram’s Geeta Govindam is scheduled for a release later this year.
