Rashmika Mandanna’s Hindi Film Opts for a Direct-to-OTT Release

Happening beauty Rashmika Mandanna is supposed to make her Bollywood debut in with a film, titled Mission Majnu. Starring Siddharth Malhotra as the male lead, the film is announced in 2021. Being directed by Shantanu Bagchi, due to unknown reasons, the film’s shooting got delayed.

During the shooting process of Mission Majnu, Rashmika Mandanna got a golden opportunity to act opposite legendary Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan. Titled Goodbye, the film directed by Vikas Bahl had a theatrical release in October.

Meanwhile, this afternoon an official announcement came out that Mission Majnu is going to skip theatrical release and opt for a direct-to-OTT release. Reportedly, digital giant Netflix has acquired the streaming rights of Mission Majnu.

Mission Manju is gearing up for digital premieres exclusively on Netflix on January 20th.
