Rashmika Mandanna, created a sensation in Kannada Film Industry by stealing a place in the hearts of young boys with her portrayal of the character, Shanvi in Kirik Party. The runaway success of the movie helped each and every cast member to establish a name for themselves and the movie has become a cult for the youth to refer in colleges. She had been approached by many makers after watching the movie, but the model turned actress, chose to apply high level precaution in her choices.
She accepted to star opposite, Kannada Power Star, Puneeth Rajkumar in his next film. She also signed for her Tamil debut and for her Telugu debut, she chose the offer from Prabhas19 team. The yet untitled movie, directed by Sujeeth Sign, Run Raja Run fame, is the next biggest budget movie of Telugu Film Industry after Bahubali with a whopping 125 crores amount. UV Creations who produced Mirchi with young Rebel Star will produce the movie as well.
With this movie, Rashmika will get closer to Tamil and Hindi audience as the makers have planned to use Bahubali craze of Prabhas. The story of the movie revolves around a cop and the character of Prabhas will be highly unique and lovable as per the sources close to team. At IIFA awards, the leading girl, Rashmika confirmed that she signed the movie and will start shooting as soon as the team is ready. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy are selected for music and Madhie for Cinematography. The team promises the film to match Hollywood standards in execution.
