One social media user shared a video clip from “Animal,” highlighting how Ranbir’s character cheats on Rashmika’s character with Zoya, played by Tripti Dimri. The caption read, “Remember: Nothing is scarier than trusting a man,” which many found to be a pessimistic and biased statement.
Rashmika quickly responded to this post. She clarified, “Correction: Trusting a stupid man is scary; There are a lot of good men also out there. Trusting them is special.” She added a love emoji, suggesting that viewers should see “Animal” as just a film, not a reflection of society as a whole.
