Rashmika Mandanna in ‘Family Star’: What’s Her Role?

The team behind Vijay Devarakonda’s upcoming movie, “Family Star,” has embarked on a crucial 15-day shoot in the USA, accompanied by producer Dil Raju, actress Mrunal Thakur, and director Parasuram. Recently, it was revealed that popular actress Rashmika Mandanna, known for her role in ‘Animal,’ will be making a special appearance in the film.

Interestingly, Rashmika was initially considered for previous projects directed by Parasuram and even for a film alongside Vijay under Gowtham Tinnanuri. However, due to scheduling conflicts, she couldn’t commit to these movies and opted for other projects.

Nonetheless, she managed to dazzle in a special song for “Family Star,” which was filmed in Mumbai on a specially constructed set as Mrunal wasn’t available in Hyderabad for the shoot. Though the extent of Rashmika’s role in the movie remains undisclosed, whether it’s just a song or a significant part – her collaboration with Vijay.

Especially after their success in Parasuram’s “Geetha Govindam,” has garnered substantial attention. There’s buzz about unclear videos circulating online, suggesting that both Mrunal and Rashmika might be portraying sisters in the movie, adding to the intrigue surrounding “Family Star.”
