The franchise became a huge hit in Tamil and even had a Hindi remake. Now, the fourth installment of Kanchana is getting ready to go on floors.

The latest buzz suggests that Rashmika Mandanna may be part of the film. Reports say she will not be the main lead but might appear in flashback scenes as a frightening ghost. While Rashmika hasn’t officially signed, the unique role could attract her despite her busy schedule.

At the same time strong rumors suggest Pooja Hegde is playing the main heroine. If both actresses come on board, this film could shape up into an interesting female multistarrer.

Lawrence who also directs, is planning to make this part scarier than the previous ones. However, no official announcement about the female leads has been made yet.
