Ranveer and team to re-create lost magic

Ranveer Singh is shooting for ’83, his upcoming film, which is a biopic on Kapil Dev and when the team, in his leadership, won the world cup match in 1983. While Ranveer is playing Kapil Dev, Deepika Padukone is playing Romi Dev, Kapil’s wife. So real life couple is going to play reel life couple too.

The entire team of actors is already in the UK shooting for the film. The news now is that they key final match between India and West Indies will be shot at the prestigious Lords Cricket ground. The climax scenes of the film will be canned once the 2019 world cup gets over. Special plans are being made to re-create the same magic of 83. Popular director Kabir Singh is directing this film and details about the rest of the cast are still under wraps.
