Rani Mukerji’s Comment Sparks Online Debate

Rani Mukerji recently sparked an online debate after a comment she made in an interview. While talking in a light and humorous way about family life she said that a mother should raise her deep voice against the father not the other way around.

The actress who is promoting Mardaani 3 was sharing stories about her husband Aditya Chopra and daughter Adira and spoke about the importance of respect for women at home. She said boys should be taught to treat their mothers well so they learn how to behave in society.

Although Rani made the remark jokingly but many people on social media took it seriously. Some felt no one should raise their voice in relationships and encouraged calm conversations instead.

Others defended Rani saying her words were misunderstood and taken out of context. As usual, Rani stayed silent and let the discussion die down on its own.
