In the film industry, there are times when individuals experience either a golden period of success or an unfortunate streak of failures. Sudhakar Cherukuri, the producer of Nani’s hit film Dasara, was hoping to turn his luck around with this success. However, his latest venture, Rangabali, has once again landed him in the realm of disappointment.
Before Dasara, Sudhakar had faced consecutive failures with films like Padi Padi Leche Manasu, Virata Parvam, Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu, and Ramarao On Duty, which failed to make an impact at the box office. However, his fortune changed with the success of Dasara.
Buoyed by the triumph, Sudhakar had high hopes for the future. Unfortunately, Rangabali failed to impress audiences and critics alike, leading to a weak response. The film’s poor box office performance resulted in minimal collections on its opening day, and its prospects didn’t improve over the first weekend. Ultimately, Rangabali turned out to be a massive disaster.
In its first weekend, the film managed to collect only around 2.7 Crores in worldwide shares. Trade circles predict that the film’s final collection will be less than 4 Crores, solidifying its status as an outright box office failure. Sudhakar Cherukuri finds himself back in the midst of a disappointing streak, after briefly tasting success with Dasara.
