Ranbir Kapoor has shared how he prepared to play Lord Rama in Ramayana. He said understanding Lord Rama’s great moral values and teachings was much more important than building a huge muscular body for sure.
He revealed that he read many religious texts, met scholars and practised yoga and meditation for two years to connect with the great character.
Ranbir said he wanted to portray Lord Rama in a simple and much relatable way so people of all ages could connect with him for sure.
Directed by Nitesh Tiwari while Ramayana stars Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana.
The 2 part film will release during Diwali 2026 and Diwali 2027.
