Ranbir Kapoor praises Salman Khan for this reason; calls out PR

While they were watching the teaser, a viral video of Ranbir Kapoor explaining why he has never had any press coverage went viral. Why Ranbir Kapoor lacks a PR, as opposed to other celebrities, has always been a mystery to fans.

Ranbir previously stated that “PR is the death of an actor” in an interview. “PR is the death of an actor,” he had declared. When PR is used incorrectly, the result is that you begin to believe it. It becomes a really addictive game when people post articles about other people or themselves. And you start thinking that the number of times my face appears on a magazine cover is the only factor in determining my stardom.

Ranbir Kapoor told Times Now, “I think PR is something you have to use intelligently, where your skills are concerned. You use PR intelligently when you’re really doing something. And if you don’t believe in something… if I’m going to a charity event for a PR thing, the audience sees through it. If you don’t believe in something, they’ll always see through you.”

In the same interview, he used Salman Khan’s charitable organisation Being Human as an example and claimed that the reason it is so successful is that Salman has faith in it. People don Being Human t-shirts because of this. They respect him so much because he firmly believes in it, Ranbir added in his closing statement.
