Directed by Rahul Sankrityan the film is set in the colonial era and is based on lesser-known South Indian history.
Vijay plays a rebel warrior while Rashmika appears as a strong character named Jayamma.
The glimpse shows Vijay training with horses for action scenes. He practiced daily and continued shooting despite minor injuries. The makers focused on realistic action.
Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film also stars Arnold Vosloo. Music is by Ajay-Atul. It will release pan-India on September 11.
