Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to strike back on screen with his comeback prestigious 150th movie Khaidi No 150. Chiranjeevi became Megastar with the 64th film of his career, Khaidi and then gave big hits like Vijetha, Pasivadi Pranam to consolidate his position and again did a Khaidi film as his 100th, titled Khaidi No 786.
The movie became a blockbuster and he then continued the streak with blockbusters like Athaku Yamudu Ammayiki Mogudu, Jagadekaveerudu Athiloka Sundari, Gang Leader and Gharana Mogudu. Now, in his comeback after 9 years he again chose Khaidi to aid him and titled the movie Khaidi No 150. The last movie of his as a lead was a remake, Shankar dada Zindabad, but it failed miserably at box office.
As the famous saying has explained to win where you have lost, he chose to remake Kaththi directed by Murugadoss for his comeback with VV Vinayak to helm the directors job. As the film is complete and the release date is fast approaching, the makers Konidela Productions are leaving no stone unturned to make the biggest event of Telugu cinema.
The team have already decided to release songs as singles one by one and conduct a pre release grand function. The film is slated for Sankranthi release and the pre release function is planned exactly a week before the release of the film. The event will be star studded as many of the popular heroes have been invited to grace the function along with directors of land mark films of Chiranjeevi.
To make it even special, Ram Charan Tej the producer of the movie is planning to make his actor friends, Rana and Navdeep, host the evening. The actors have accepted the offer in principal and they are excited to be a part of the mega event. The venue details and date are yet to be confirmed.
