Rana Daggubati has been one actor from Tollywood who is ready to experiment with his looks, stories and go to the places wherever the opportunities take him to. He decided to work in any language that allows him to act in the kind of the roles he wants to. He got chances to enter the Tamil Cinema and then Hindi Cinema too. He made each one of them count and Baahubali has helped him to leave a lasting image everywhere.
In Telugu Cinema too he is the only actor who is looking to experiment with the genres and he did movies like Ghazi, the first movie with a war at sea theme and then chose to do a political thriller like Nene Raju Nene Mantri. Now, he is busy doing a movie in Hindi and Tamil to bring the investigation of Rajiv Gandhi’s murder on screen. After that he is going to enter Hollywood.
The actor has signed the movie last year and recently went to London for script reading. The movie is titled, Whistle, the mystery of Phantom Ship. A huge ship from Saurashtra has submerged into Arabian Sea near the bay with 700 members aboard. What happened to ship and why did it submerge is a big mystery as the ship sunk in 1888. Rana will be the head scientist who runs the mission to find the truth. The movie shoot will start in 2018 and Dhawal Malhotra is directing the movie.
