Tom Hanks, the name will suffice for many many fans of good cinema to watch the film without a second thought. His performances in movies like Forrest Gump, Catch Me if You Can, Terminal and Voice acting in Toy Story series are just few examples of the legend that he is. He is a talent that whole world is proud off.His new movie Inferno, the third novel adaptation in the series of The Da Vinci Code, Angels and Demons. He made the Harvard Professor of symbology, Langdon a famous and rememberable character with his histrionics on screen. The previous films in the franchise did rake up some controversies but after the release the movies were praised for their script and Tom Hanks acting abilities.
Rana Daggubati, was approached to lend his voice for the telugu dub of the movie. While, Rana was first hesitant to go ahead with a decision, the team showed him a special cut of the film and he immediately accepted the part. He dubbed for the film for 3 days at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Rana shared his excitement to a leading daily newspaper saying that he has indirectly contributed his bit to be a part of great actor ‘s legacy. He also expressed his interest in dubbing for several actors like this whenever he gets an opportunity.
He further added that it was a learning experience for him to understand the performance of a legend like Tom Hanks and try to match it with his voice for telugu audience. He said that he learned a lot from him without directly meeting him with this experience and he feels that he can use that to further improve his skills. The movie Inferno will open on October 14th in India, 2 weeks before the US release.
