Rana Daggubati Speaks about his Comment on Big Hindi Heroine

Rana Daggubati apologised to Sonam Kapoor and Dulquer Salmaan on Twitter for the trolling and provided clarification.

Recently, actor Rana Daggubati went to a screening of Dulquer Salmaan’s new movie, “King of Kotha.” In a viral video from the occasion, Rana can be heard discussing an incident involving Dulquer and a well-known Bollywood starlet.

Although the actor made no mention of a specific person by name, internet users immediately assumed that Rana was alluding to Sonam Kapoor and that the incident had to do with the filming of “The Zoya Factor.” Rana used Twitter to apologise to Sonam and Dulquer and to clarify the situation, putting an end to all the trolls.

Rana Daggubati wrote, “I am genuinely troubled by the negativity that has been aimed at Sonam due to my comments, that are totally untrue and were meant entirely in a light-hearted manner. As friends, we often exchange playful banter, and I deeply regret that my words have been misinterpreted

Rana Daggubati’s post further read, “I take this opportunity to express my heartfelt apologies to Sonam and Dulquer, both of whom I hold in great esteem. I hope this clarification puts an end to any speculation and misunderstanding. Thank you for your understanding

For those who don’t know, Rana Daggubati recounted an instance where a Bollywood actress wasted Dulquer Salmaan’s time on a film set during a pre-release event for “King of Kotha.” “Dulquer was my junior at acting school,” the actor remarked. There, we grew close. He is a very gracious individual. The producers of the Hindi film he’s working on are friends of mine. The shooting took place not far from my home. To meet Dulquer, I travelled there.

He continued, “A major Hindi diva who was acting in the movie was preoccupied with a phone discussion about shopping in London with her husband while he was standing in the corner with the spot boy. Her lack of concentration hampered the quality of the photographs, irritating everyone on site. Dulquer maintained a calm atmosphere by being patient and empathetic despite the disruptions the circumstance brought about.
